On a sunny but very blustery day, the IRFU Charitable Trust Golf Outing on Friday 1st October took place on the West Course in Powerscourt Golf Club – a nice change of scenery from our East Course Outing in June.
40 rowers including former Irish rugby internationals have broken the 24 Hour Row World Record! Raising over €22,000 (and counting!) for Friends of CROSS Cancer Research and the IRFU Charitable Trust.
During these difficult times, the support we received from everyone involved with our June Golf Outing was incredible and all funds raised go towards helping all our seriously injured rugby players.
During the pandemic, one of our seriously injured rugby players – Bernard Healy, has been keeping a diary.
