The IRFU Charitable Trust AON Lunch was held at the Ballsbridge Hotel on 24^th November 2017. Many thanks to all who supported the event in helping us raise much needed funds for the ongoing support of our seriously injured players.

John Walsh entertained everyone during the meal with stunning Spanish guitar music. Luke Fitzgerald and Shane Jennings accepted awards for their contribution to Rugby and Mike Ruddock answered all Mick Quinn’s questions that everyone wanted to hear!

As well as the above, our special guests included Ronnie Delany, Hugo MacNeill, Mal O’Kelly and Ronnie Dawson. The highly entertaining comedian Barry Murphy, appearing as his alter ego German Gunther Grun while performing the Auction, raised over €5,000 for the auction prizes including a night away for the England v Ireland Six Nations match in Twickenham on St. Patrick’s Day.

A fantastic afternoon was enjoyed by all our guests and once again we would like to thank all those who attended and gave their support in creating a thoroughly entertaining and memorable occasion
