Ireland’s Call Six Nations Ball 2024

The annual Ireland’s Call Six Nations Ball for 2024 has been confirmed for Friday 26th January and will once again take place at the luxurious five-star Shelbourne Hotel.  As avid rugby supporters, who want to give back to the game, the committe are delighted to once again hold this event in aid of the 35 seriously injured amateur rugby players, and their families, across the Island of Ireland.  The 2024 Ball will kick off with a drinks reception at 7pm followed by a silver service dinner from 8pm with lots of entertainment including a live band to see out the night.  As has become tradition, the Ball will take place the week before the 2024 Guinness Six Nations kicks off with Ireland travelling to Marseilles on Friday 2nd February to take on France.  Will one of these teams be crowned World Cup Champions in the meantime?!?

Matt Cooper has very kindly offered to once again host the Ball this year and the committee would like to thank Matt for his ongoing and generous support.   Matt had the pleasure of interviewing Andy Farrell and Johnny Sexton live from their training camp in Portugal in January 2023; as well as an intimate chat with Rob Kearney, followed by a Q&A with Marie Louise ‘Maz’ Reilly, Rhys Ruddock and Devin Toner.

The 2023 Ball was an outstanding success with everyone in attendance thoroughly enjoying the event – please take the time to view the adjacent video from the last Ball which was kindly filmed and produced by the Charitable Trust’s Video Partner Get Broadcasting.  Funds raised from both the Silent Auction and Live Auction in January 2023 was the biggest amount raised at an Ireland’s Call Six Nations Ball.  In addition, Harris Motors CEO, Denise Harris very, very generously donated a brand new MAXUS MIFA 9 fully electric MPV.  Thank you again to everyone who contributed to making the 2023 Ball such a success.

Henry Beeby, from GOFFS, along with his son George and colleague Tadhg Dooley, will run the Live Auction for the January 2024 Ball.  Thank you to Henry, George, Tadhg and GOFFS for their ongoing support and we are looking forward to the wonderful and exclusive Auctions items for 2024; including the many unique rugby prizes.

The committee are delighted to announce that Northern Trust are remaining as a sponsor for the 2024 Ball.  Thank you Norther Trust for your  ongoing support, it is very much appreciated; and we hope to announce more sponsors in due course.

Finally, we would like to thank all of you who attended in January 2023 and gave so generously on the night.  We hope to see you again in 2024 as well as some new faces.   Your kindness and compassion in helping support seriously injured rugby players and their familes is greatly appreciated.
