Ireland’s Call Six Nations Ball 2023 – supporting the IRFU Charitable Trust

Announcing Rob Kearney will be joining the Ireland’s Call Six Nations Ball as one of the very special guests on the night with more guests to be announced soon!

The Ball is in aid of the 35 seriously injured rugby players across the Island of Ireland and will take place at the Shelbourne Hotel on Saturday 28th January 2023 – just before the kickoff of the 2023 Guinness Six Nations.  This will be the fourth Ireland’s Call Six Nations Ball and it will be three long years since the last one due to that which shall not be mentioned here!

Very special thanks to KPMG and Northern Trust for once again sponsoring the night as well as special thanks and a warm welcome to new sponsor IPUT Real Estate Dublin.  Thank you as well to Planit who will be running the event.

Hosted by Matt Cooper, guests will once again get to experience the splendor of the five star Shelbourne Ball Room with the Black Tie event kicking off with a drinks reception – kindly sponsored by Heineken, followed by a gala dinner, fine wine and entertainment – including music from the fabulous ‘The Controversial All Stars’.

All tables are nearly sold out.  The organising committee would like to express their deep and humble gratitude to everyone who has taken a table.  The organising Committee co-chaired by Helen Gannon and Tanya McEnroe, includes Linda Black, Robert Deacon, Frank Gannon, John Jacobs, Stephen Jacobs, Keith Lowe, Linda Lynch, Paul McEnroe, Antoinette Redmond, Niall Rynne, Marc Sheridan, Audrey Toner and Michael Whelan.

A Live Auction by Keith Lowe will take place with exclusive “money can’t buy” items including unique prizes from the world of rugby, golf, tennis, music and beyond; as well as a Silent Auction and Raffle Prizes for every table.  Thank you in advance to everyone who donated Auction Items and Prizes – your support is greatly appreciated.  All funds raised will go to the IRFU Charitable Trust in helping to support seriously injured amateur rugby players and their families.  One of the seriously injured players, Mike Scott will be attending and a video highlighting the work the Trust does and how the rugby family comes together to support those who are injured, will be aired on the night.

Again, thank you to everyone who has supported the Ireland’s Call Six Nations Ball over the years; and here’s hoping the 2023 Ball will be the best year yet!
