After a wonderful event last November, where those present were thrilled to be back after lockdown forced the Trust not to have a lunch in 2020 – we are delighted to announce a new venue for this years’ Charitable Trust Lunch kindly supported by Aon.

On Friday 11th November, the day before the Ireland v Fiji international at Aviva Stadium, the Radisson Blu St. Helen’s Hotel, Stillorgan, Dublin is the new location for the IRFU Charitable Trust Aon Lunch.  The event will kick off with a drinks reception at 1pm, kindly sponsored by Diageo, followed by lunch at 2pm.  We have a few tables remaining hence please contact Linda on 01 647 3866 or email:  charitabletrust@irfu.ie to book a table.

Like most charities, we are recovering from the negative financial impact of the pandemic which limited our ability to fundraise.  Which is why your support for this event is so important to the Trust to ensure we can continue to care for those amateur rugby players who have been seriously injured playing the game we all love.

Last year was a very special event.  Entertainment and singing abounded with many of the singers unplanned!   The Trinitones were superb and Nigel Osborne interviewed our special guests including Malcolm O’Kelly … as well as a few gate crashers in the guise of Brent Pope and George Hook.  Click here to view some of the great entertainment on the day!
