Brightwater Rugby & Wine Evening in aid of seriously injured players
The Brightwater Group, Ireland’s leading recruitment specialists, were delighted to host an evening of Rugby & Wine for their clients in advance of the Rugby World Cup in Japan this September. Former Irish players Gordon D’Arcy, Liam Toland, Malcom O’Kelly and Paul Wallace were all on hand to discuss Ireland’s chances in the tournament as well as reminisce about their own playing days and achievements.
Liam Toland then compered a very lively Q&A session from the rapt audience comprised of business professionals from Brightwater’s client roster including firms from the legal, accountancy, engineering and IT sectors among others.
Barbara McGrath, Managing Director of Brightwater also introduced John Wilson, master sommelier and Irish Times columnist who gave a fascinating insight into both Old and New World wines as well as Japanese sake and beers.
The evening was in aid of the IRFU Charitable Trust which works to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives. Barbara McGrath was delighted to present Linda Black of the Trust with a cheque for €5,000 on behalf of Brightwater.
