We are delighted to announce that the 2024 IRFU Charitable Trust Leinster Golf Outing, kindly sponsored by our Golf Partner Pinergy, will be held at a new spectacular venue – The K Club on Friday 27^th September 2024.

The K Club recently hosted the Horizon Irish Open and featured a world class line up including our own Ryder Cup heroes Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy, and will also host the 2025 and 2027 Irish Opens.  It was also great to see Rory and Shane at Ireland’s victorious Rugby World Cup pool match against reigning World Champions South Africa!

The Charitable Trust Golf Outing will take place on The K Club’s second Arnold Palmer designed course, Palmer South, which hosted the Challenge Tour’s Irish Challenge in 2022 and will also host the Irish Challenge in 2024 and 2026.  We will once again have the popular shotgun start commencing at 1pm with lunch rolls and tea/coffee available from 12midday for all our teams.  Make sure you reach your tee off hole before the 1pm siren!  For the 2024 Leinster Golf Outing, we will have a limited number of team slots – specifically 25 teams of four and the cost per team is €800.  Given the stunning setting of The K Club we expect a sell-out hence please book early to avoid disappointment.

Following your round, you and your guests will be treated to a gourmet sit-down BBQ in the luxurious Legacy Suite in The K Club; as well as a Q&A with special guests to be announced from the world of rugby.  In 2023 we had Grand Slam winning U20s Head Coach Richie Murphy as well as Irish rugby legends Shane Byrne and Liam Toland … and so far, their predictions for the Rugby World Cup have come to pass!  Please note we will also have a limited number of guest tickets available to attend the post-golf dinner, enjoy the gourmet BBQ and chats, and experience the Q&A with our rugby stars.  Guest tickets are €100 per person, discounted to €80 for guests of players.  Everyone will also have the opportunity to partake in a Charity Auction which will feature a limited number of unique rugby prizes including an official Ireland Rugby jersey signed by the Irish men’s senior squad.

There will also be a Charity Raffle with great prizes which have included a €400 Aldi Voucher, a TV, Powerscourt Golf Club Four-ball, away nights and luxury items.  Please make sure you partake in the Raffle and the Charity Auction before you tee off for your chance to win.  All proceeds from the Raffle and the Auction go directly towards supporting our 35 seriously injured amateur rugby players and their families.  Thank you to everyone who has contributed and continues to contribute to the Raffle items and the Auction items, as well as the always very popular Goody Bags.  Your ongoing generosity is greatly appreciated.

The Charitable Trust would like to take this opportunity to once again thank our Golf Partner and Corporate Friend Pinergy for their continued support; and for also supplying the winning team prizes.  Last year’s winning team prizes were stylish TaylorMade Cart Bags and previous first team prizes have included TaylorMade Stealth Hybrid Drivers and TaylorMade Spider putters.  In addition there will be team prizes for 2^nd and 3^rd, prizes for the longest drives (ladies and gents) and prizes for nearest the Pinergy (front nine and back nine).  Tee Sponsorship is also available for anyone interested in getting their company name/brand out there; and you can secure one tee sign for €150 or three tee signs for €300.
