Following the highly successful IRFU Charitable Trust Golf Outing in June, kindly supported by Pinergy, we are delighted to announce that our second Golf Outing for 2021 will take place on Friday 1st October.

Our October Outing will be once again hosted by the immaculate Powerscourt Golf Club, East Course ad will be sponsored again by Pinergy.  Due to COVID-19, the format will be a Team Sheet with 9 minute intervals. Tee times will be agreed with team captains closer to the date.  Before each team tees-off, they will be treated to food while ensuring social distancing at all times and health guidelines compliance; and each team member will receive a Goody Bag.  We will have prizes for the top 3 teams, nearest the Pinergy and the longest drive. The cost for a team of 4 to join the Golf Outing in October is €600.

Following the completion of their round, each team places their scorecard in to a box and may use the showers and changing rooms.  Powerscourt staff will ensure a limited number of people in the changing rooms in line with social distancing noting the rolling time sheet will facilitate everyone.  There will be food served to those teams who have finished – the detail of which will be communicated to team captains so that we are compliant with all social distancing and health & safety guidelines at the time. We will also have a Charity Raffle with some great prizes!

Your support for our seriously injured players is even more appreciated during these difficult times.  Like most charities, our fundraising initiatives have been severely impacted during the last 16 months hence the continued support of teams already booked – and new teams who would like to join us for the October Outing are greatly welcomed and greatly appreciated.
