The IRFU Charitable Trust are delighted to announce our inaugural Curragh Race Day – taking place on Saturday 8th October 2022, at the Curragh Racecourse in Kildare.

A limited number of guests will be treated to VIP access to the Oak Suite (Charitable Trust guests only); including exclusive balcony access to view the parade ring; a drinks reception, kindly sponsored by Diageo from 12midday; followed by Silver Service lunch at 12.45pm; with the first race kicking off at 1.25pm.   All guests will be provided with a Race Card highlighting the eight races on the day; with special guests Johnny Murtagh, Bernard Jackman and Shane Byrne providing plenty of tips and a Q&A.  Tote facilities for guests will be at hand including a complimentary charity bet … just to get you going!

All proceeds from the event go towards helping to support our 35 seriously injured amateur rugby players and their families.   Henry Beeby will run a live charity auction with unique items including exclusive VIP horseracing experiences and rugby occasions e.g. table of 10 to the IRFU Charitable Trust Aon Lunch on Friday 11th November in the Radisson Blu St. Helens plus 10 tickets to Ireland v Fiji the following day.  A raffle prize per table will also be up for grabs for all donations received as well as themed sweepstakes.
