We are delighted to announce Ireland Women’s Head Coach Greg McWilliams will join Under 20s Grand Slam winning Head Coach Richie Murphy as our special guests at the 2022 IRFU Charitable Trust Golf Outing on Friday 13^th May. 

Pinergy are once again sponsoring the event and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Pinergy for their ongoing kindness and support.  Powerscourt will be hosting our shotgun scramble on the EAST Course at 12midday.  There are a few team slots remaining hence please book now.  Before tee-off, all team members will receive a golf goody bag – thank you in advance to all our supporters who have contributed, and continue to contribute, to what is always a very well received and substantial golf goody bag.  We will have prizes for the top three teams, with the first prize sponsored by Pinergy.  The October 1^st team prize sponsored by Pinergy were TaylorMade Spider putters worth over €300 each – this year’s 1^st team prize will be announced in due course!  There are also prizes for nearest the Pinergy and the longest drive.  The cost for a team of 4 to join this May’s Golf Outing is €800.

Following the completion of the scramble, all teams are invited to a gourmet BBQ at the Club during which a Q&A will take place with our very special guests Richie Murphy and Greg McWilliams – talking about all things rugby and coaching.  The always popular charity raffle, with prizes in the past including a €400 Aldi voucher, will take place hence please ensure to purchase your raffle tickets before you tee off.

The support of the team captains and their teams for our seriously injured players is greatly appreciated, in particular given the severe impact the pandemic has had on the Trust’s ability to fundraise.  Thank you to those teams who have booked already and as always, we welcome new teams who would like to join us for a great day out in support of those who have been seriously injured playing the game of rugby.  Thank you again to our sponsor Pinergy, and a special thank you to Luke Fitzgerald for his ongoing support of our Golf Outings.
